Andrew Dallas is a graduate of Boston University with a B.A. in Computer Science. He is also an alumnus of The Hill School of Pottstown Pennsylvania, a college preparatory boarding school to which he maintains close ties.
Mr. Dallas is an alumnus of DMR Group (now part of Fujitsu), a Canadian-based worldwide consultancy specializing in business systems and process redesign. While at DMR, Mr. Dallas held positions as Technical Leader, Project Leader and Senior Software Engineer in the company's Advanced Technology Development Group. He specialized in the development of image processing software including some of the earliest optical character recognition (OCR) systems.
Mr. Dallas also worked for Turning Point Software, one of the very first outsourcing companies for shrink-wrapped software development. While at TPS, Mr. Dallas worked on products for Microsoft, Electronic Arts and WordPerfect.
Since 2009, Mr. Dallas has been a participating member of Medical Device and Diagnostic Industry Magazine's Editorial Advisory Board. He has authored articles for that publication and others in the industry on topics such as software development, software quality processes, outsourcing and regulatory compliance.
